Archive Project

Archiving permanently closes a PNR project: VMs and the export Box folder are deleted, but the project's storage volumes (admin/, read_only/, read_write/, transfer/) are retained. Use this when the active research is finished but you still need to comply with Duke's retention requirements.

To archive your project, select the Archive option from the dropdown menu to the right of your project's name:

What Happens When I Archive My PNR Project?

  • Permanently closes your project
  • Deletes all Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Deletes the associated Box folder used for results export
  • Retains all project storage listed under the PNR Storage row, including:
    • admin/
    • read_only/
    • read_write/
    • transfer/
