Delete Project

Deleting a project removes everything — VMs, storage, and the project itself. Before deleting, confirm there are no retention or destruction obligations from a DUA, IRB protocol, or sponsor. The steps below assume your project has no such obligations or that they have already been satisfied.

Contract-governed data obligations

Projects involving contract-governed data — such as those under a Data Use Agreement (DUA) — may include obligations for data retention, destruction, or auditing.

If your project includes such data, please submit a support ticket so we can assist with appropriate safeguards and ensure compliance with all terms.

Choose the request type: PNR Projects: Confirmation of Data Deletion.

To delete your PNR project

  • You must be an admin on the project
  • Delete the storage volume
  • Delete all VMs
  • Select the option to Delete Project from the dropdown menu next to your project's name
